What is Chiropractic Care

Taking a Natural Systemic Approach to Healing

man holding back in pain
Chiropractic looks at the human body as a whole. It’s based on the idea that the body is self-sustaining and self-healing because of the nervous system. Proper spinal alignment with normal s curves from the side and a straight spine from the front helps the spinal cord work efficiently allowing nerves to provide appropiate information to all of the organs of the body. It is what helps keep you alive and functioning.

Find and Eliminate the Source of Pain

You know that your body is controlled by your brain, but the spinal cord and vast network of nerves that carry its messages must be free of interference. When this system is not functioning at its peak, your body’s overall performance is immediately impacted. Since the spine is the source of most spine related pain, that’s where we look. Modern digital X-ray and sate of the art Posture Ray software enables us to understand where the source of your pain is coming from and usually eliminate it.

In the chiropractic world, we don’t use drugs to treat our patients. While supplementation and nutrition are almost always a part of the bigger picture, drugs and prescriptions generally are viewed as bandaids rather than treating the source of the problem. Our main focus is to correct or improve abnormal spinal structure which creates abnormal stress on the nervous system, including nerve receptors imbedded in joint discs, facets and other supporting ligaments, thereby removing a significant catalyst for recurring health problems.

What We Treat

Our doctors are advanced certified in Chiropractic Biophysics and ScoliCare (Scoliosis Center of Utah) While it’s often perceived that our doctors solely treat back and neck pain, in realtiy we are capable of much more. we also treat headaches, sciatica, disc herniations, scoliosis, forward head posture, and deal with many health issues generated by the spine. Some of these issues include fibromyalgia, allergies, and radiculopathies.

    The Power of Chiropractic Care

Did you know that our nervous system controls every single function in our body? From feeling pain to proper organ function, a healthy nervous system is critical in ensuring good health.

Nerve energy flows from the brain, down the spine, and into each part of our body, so it only makes sense that even the smallest blockage can lead to diminished nerve flow. If left untreated, diminished nerve flow manifests as pain, disease, and even organ dysfunction.

This is why chiropractic care is so critical. By removing such blockages and restoring the spine back to health, chiropractors enable the body’s life-giving nerve energy to flow, resulting in a healthier you.
